The mission of DCMGA is to teach environmentally sound, research-based gardening practices to the citizens of Delaware County under the auspices of The Ohio State University Extension of Delaware County.
Who We Are
Delaware County Master Gardener Association (DCMGA) is a federally tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization and a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation in the State of Ohio. It's membership is constituted by Master Gardener Volunteers of The Ohio State University Extension of Delaware County.
The Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program provides intensive training in horticulture to interested Ohio residents, who then volunteer their time assisting with educational programs and activities for Ohio residents through their local OSU Extension county office. Volunteers are not required to have gardening skills or knowledge; but a passion for learning about gardening and sharing this knowledge with others is a must! The county Master Gardener Extension Coordinator is advisor to and administrator of the Delaware County Master Gardeners volunteer program.
Membership in the DCMGA is open to all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, gender, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
