The Delaware County Master Gardener Association announces three $2,500 scholarships for Delaware County residents pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture, botany, food science, horticulture, environmental science, or a related field at an accredited college, university, or technical school in the United States.
Applications for the 2025-2026 scholarships can be obtained through the Delaware Community Foundation at https://delcf.org/scholarships/ and must be submitted by February 28, 2025.

The Scholarship Committee has completed another successful year, selecting three outstanding students to support in their academic endeavors for the 2025-26 school year. There were a total of 23 applicants, with most deserving serious consideration. Our awardees are:
Rylea Gist will be a junior at The Ohio State University, majoring in Botany and minoring in Chemistry
Avery Bouwman will return as a junior at The Ohio State University, majoring in Plant Pathology and minoring in Forestry
Isabelle Lazar, a recent graduate of Delaware Hayes High School who will be entering The Ohio State University's Agricultural Technical institute In Wooster, will major in Agrisceince Education

Mason Reid, Olentangy Orange High School, pursuing his masters degree in ecotoxicology and environmental chemistry at the Ohio State University
