DCMGA provides two scholarships of $2,500 each to Delaware County residents who are or will be studying agriculture, food science, horticulture, botany, or a related field at an accredited college, university, or technical school in the United States.

The 2021 Scholarships honors Charlotte Niceswanger. Charlotte has brought many educational opportunities to the county through her posts on the DCMG’s Facebook page.

A third scholarship is being offered this year (2021) in honor of Jack Strader, the founder, owner, and manager of Strader's Garden Center. Mr. Strader, our longtime friend and supporter, contributed thousands of plants to our annual plant sale. This scholarship is a tribute to Mr. Strader's love of horticulture.

Applications for 2021 scholarships closed on May 31.
